Terrorists and insurgents don't have to defeat us because our own Democrats are about to defeat us.

The amazing thing is that the Democrats have been rationalizing away what the people in the military think for so long that they are now totally unaware of how their actions are perceived by the people in uniform.
Maybe they are afraid to consider the concept that the people who feel that the people willing to defend them are not the people who agree with their politics.

How can our Army be defeated, they won the war in Iraq. So how can the Democrats defeat them?
It has never been a policy of America to become involved in another nations Civil War, why should we start now? Do you wish our troops to stay & fight terrorists & insurgents? What side will they be on? Shiite or Sunni? Or should we just kill them all?
Should we just stay to make sure that the oil companies get to claim the oil that Iraq has?
To bring our troops home ASAP is what I want & I don't see that as a defeat by anyone.

As a Democrat that knows the Democratic plan on Iraq follows the what the Iraqi Study Group, Generals, etc.. have recommended, I think, no I know, that statement is a falsehood that the R party is using to manipulate weak-minded ppl into believing for political gains.

well first off your question is grammatically incorrect and second how are they going to be defeated by democrats? Just because they don't want an extra 20,000 troops going over there? that is just really stupid.... and the only reason why president bush wants a surge in troops is because we are not winning against the insurgency---democrats dont and havent done anything to make the army lose......get your facts straight man.

No one else on this Planet was able to do this to the U.S. Military. Only the Enemy within was able to lose the Vietnam War, and this same Enemy within is again going to cost us the Iraq War, and the War against Terrorism. If the People of the United States of America had any guts, they would be demanding the Arrest of these Enemies within our Own Government for Treason!
We have the right to espouse our own ideas and beliefs. But, when it puts Our Military and Our Country in Danger, then it becomes Treason.

Democrats must not demoralize the military by saying that their efforts are not good since war is just being waged by the Republicans and not the American people. They should be supported so that they will fight the terrorists and enemies of the US with valor.

I am proud to say Canada does, and never has, supported this war. Neither did your "Allied" nations. Even Blair is pulling back troops. You are the country that decided you were the "Big Boss" and put sanctions on other countries (ref: software dispuate)... and TOTALLY IGNORED what the UN was trying to tell you.

I wonder if you have actually served in the armed services. I see a lot of chicken hawks asking stupid questions like this on here.
The Army is not owned by the Republican party. Please enlist and pick up a rifle and shoot something other than your mouth off.
