OOoooh, rite, here we go... at the start of the 'school' year, i kept running into this girl, we keep smiling to eachother, then we saw eachother a few times outside of school. Eventually, i got in contact with her after seeing her myspace. We spoke more and more, started to text/msn. She kept saying she 'loves me'.... great.
yeah, over the next few months, i may have ended up 'loving her' more and more...
she dyed her hair blonde.
her 'BEST' friend sed she always talks bout me. (in a good way, i got promised)
i got her an expensive xmas present.
i got nothing back. a mere thanks and another 'i love u'
txtin all the way to the xmas party.... all smiles...
ran into her once or twice.. .sed hello... bit dissapointed so i txted her later sayin i felt bit annoyed tht we didnt get a chance to tlk in person. (even more annoyed tht she got the last dance with sum1 else - but sum1 she knew)

so she sed kwl... so we ok now, we'll pretend nothing happened....
xmas mornin she sed that (by text) to this day.... i havent got another single txt.
i passed my driving test. bought a car. went on holiday. trying my best not to communicate with her.
am i bein a ****? or is she doin the same so she dosnt want to 'lose face' by bein the first person to 'give in'...

oh and on her myspace profile she sed how she wants to sleep with half the worlds population. and how thats 'her dream' and how she desperately wants to do it. (even i knw tht aint gna happen) however, she is pretty serioud bout it.
p.s shes totally diff person now she dyed her hair. or maybe i 'wised up' and saw her real personalality?

you're right, i do sound immature to call her a slag.
im already 'over' her but i just wanted to find out those 'little things' tht still annoy me.
i still respect her. and i shud. all she did was be nice. maybe a little OTT with her flirting. but she shown me nothing but 'I love you' in every other text. its lost its meaning wen she says it to me.
i cant help but notice that two people, (unrelated sources) one sed shes a slag, another says shes done 'this' before... maybe a 'player' not a slag.
ps. in one of the recent answers... it sounds and looks like shes talking to me =S..... lol

So i get what your saying- your hurt.... but why say she's a slag.. Maybe you need to grow up abit.. That's life!! She probably got a better offer with someone who isn't as potentially possessive as you. Do some work on yourself..

Some girls just say 'I love you' for the sake of it, no real meaning behind it.
If she couldn't be a***d to get you an Xmas present, it shows that she doesn't care. If she did, at all, she would have at least apologised and have a decent excuse.
A lot of girls (not all) are like that and think it's perfectly ok, and if you have a problem with it, you're just being nasty.
Learn from this; be careful in future and take things slow, as a first impression is often wrong.

There's an old saying: "Treat 'em mean and keep 'em keen." Don't fall all over this girl, she'll only treat you even worse. If someone didn't get me a Christmas present after I'd spent a fortune on them, I wouldn't bother with them again. It shows that she doesn't care about you as much as you care about her. Find someone that gives you the attention you want not a teaser and a game-player.

it sounds to me as if you read a little bit more into this than she intended you too...maybe she was flirting some but i wouldnt be so quick to call her a slag...that denotes disrespect for her...and makes you sound immature, insecure and shallow all at once...no offense im just being honest...and i dont think you loved her either...maybe you just wanted her...i think that you should leave her alone...she has made it perfectly clear that she isnt interested in a romantic entanglement with you...and hasnt contacted you for a while...

She's a loser. Forget her. If a girl is being like that to you, then she is obviously NOT interested. And not giving you a Christmas gift when you gave her one, is just rude. It doesn't take much effort to give someone a heart-felt gift, even if it isn't expensive. You sound like a nice guy, there's a nice girl waiting out there for you.
