i woke up this morning and it is a little swollen and anytime something touches it, it hurts very badly, its hard to eat so what an i do to make it feel better?

try rinsing with warm water and salt, and take some Advil if it doesn't get better get in touch with doctor or dentist,

Rinse with warm water and salt and a little baking soda. Also, try drinking soups and warm things to soothe it. Do the rinse at night before bed also so it can work all night. Good luck. Maybe a little peroxide in the mix if it isn't better in two days.

Try using an antibacterial mouthwash like Listerine or warm water with baking soda to keep you waiting until you see a dentist.

Chloraseptic throat spray or Anbesol is the way to go to make it feel better. However, if you think you might have an abscess you will need to go to the doctor. Also, you should go to the doctor if it is making it difficult to breathe.

What caused this condition? Did you eat something hot and burn it? Did you put something in your mouth that you shouldn't have? Maybe you should consult a doctor/dentist?
