This might sound crazy but lemon juice is the best way to get rid of that frizzy hair. If you don't want to use that try to use some hair wax (not hot wax for getting rid off hair lol) these days they even have the hair wax spray it really softens your hair and take the frizz out. You will still need to use a hair gel or something to shape your hair.

I have tried EVERYTHING, from cheap to expensive and everything in between. I use Aussies Moist Shampoo and Conditioner and slurge to buy a product called "blow serum" made by "Kiwi". It is great stuff and it protects your hair from damage caused by styling. A bottle is usually around 10 bucks but it lasts a couple of months depending on how long your hair is. I also deep condition 2 or 3 times a week with Aussie's 3 minute miracle and everyday I use their Hair Insurance spray leave in conditioner. I think now they have a product that has the leave in conditioner and a heat protection agent. The most important thing when it comes to frizzy hair in my experience is keeping it healthy. Hence all the moisture and conditioning products. Also, taking a multivitamin every day improves your overall health, and as a result the protein that your hair is made out of will be healthier and stronger.
In using a flat iron, make sure that it is a ceramic flat iron. I don't really have a clue what the difference is, but they say that it is MUCH healthier for your hair to have a ceramic heat styler.
Mouse is not good for dry hair because almost always it has alcohol in it, which can dry out your hair even more. Try to find a gel that does not have alcohol listed in the ingredients. Pantene has a lot of great products, but be careful, a lot of their shampoos have a high content of wax. Which makes your hair shinier, but does a number on your hair in the long run. As far as a controlling product, its tough to say what your preferences are. If you want ultra control, your best bet is a wax, but a more flexible product that leaves hair soft would be something with a silicone base. The Kiwi product that I mentioned before is like that. All the Serums by John Frieda are similar as well.

I feel you !!!!!so did I until a friend of a friend who was a pro hair dresser told me the trick. since that day ive been 100 % cool w/ my hair .REALLY. I used to cry - pull it out -stay in....Blah blah blah.So...1st, Go buy a HELEN OF TROY-1_1/2 inch gold series curling iron. DO NOT SUBSTITUTE . Any other kind is futile and you may as well not bother at all! 2nd, wash your hair (twice) real well, use regular shampoo .rinse real well, then use regular conditioner (i recommend pantene),again-rinse well w/ hot water, ring out your hair tightly and put it up in a towel .DO-NOT PUT ANY!THING ELSE ON YOUR HAIR .NO MATTER HOW BAD YOU WANT TO!!!!!!-let it dry naturally! this p-art is the secret to the whole thing-TRULY..yes it will frizz up -and look like hell for a moment, but plug in your iron -turn it up all the way when its ready @5 mins-take small sections comb thru before curling w/ a brush or comb and not your fingers and be careful the iron is heavy and VERY HOT-- i promise if you follow these instructions to the letter you will be astounded! the result is soft frizz free -=its what youve been trying to find till now. Iswear on my hair!

Have you tried a product called "Biosilk"? I use that after shampooing and it helps. There are a lot of products like that on the market that should help your hair. I don't know if you are familiar with what this product is, but it is a "oily" like substance that pretty much looks and feels like baby oil, but not so oily. Like glycerin? Well anyway, you use just a very small amount and it does wonders. good luck!

Aussie curl mousse :) put it in when your hair is a bit damp, scrunch, and then let dry without touching it. then once it's dry you can run your fingers through it a couple times if you want. but make sure you don't comb it down in a part when its wet, or the top of your hair will be flat and you will look like a mushroom. instead, flip your hair upside down when you scrunch the mousse in. hope this helps!

Put olive oil on your hair and wrap it up in a towel or shower cap before you sleep. Leave it overnight and wash your hair the next morning. This will help your hair to "calm down". You don't have to do this every day. Once your hair starts to frizz again, you can re-do this treatment.

I have really frizzy hair too so I can help a little. You can buy the Pink hair lotion and the Frizz Ease gel from any drug store almost. It works really well. The lotion will make your hair soft and the Frizz Ease will take the frizz out.
