Last time i posted , people asked me what his ethnicicity had to do with it. if he were a jew, the dishonor to the family would be compounded in arab culture.

I doubt your explanation. I think that you saw an ethnic last name and jumped to a racist conclusion.

I would of thought the dishoner to her family would be less being that Jews are people of the book.

He wasn't a Jew. He was a Born Again Christian.
