I don't think I would get the cat wet, the glitter would stick to the fur while rinsing. Do you have access to a small vacuum or maybe try a hairdryer on the cool setting to blow it out of the fur. Or else, I agree with the first answer.

Eww. That sounds like a real fun job! If you have a flea comb, try using that. They're probably fine enough to catch the glitter. Otherwise dampen a paper towel, then dab it on the fur.

Depends on whether the cat will let you brush or wash it. If it's fine, do one of them. Try rubbing it's fur with a towel. Or even just rubbing and patting your cat should get a lot of it out.

I am not sure who, but someone in my circle of 360, which overlaps yours, just posted a thing about "painted cats". Just go with it. Add some lipstick and nail polish, and voila!
I'm thinking it was Proud Mommy or Agrippina. Within the last 10 days, anyway.
