i recorded a movie on my digital camera. i want to use the program windows movie maker. although, the movie i recorded saved as a quicktime file so, i can not use that on windows movie maker. if it helps, The file C:\Documents and Settings\Brian\My Documents\Kirsten and I.MOV is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker... is the message that i get. any ideas on how to change this?

You can either import the movie directly from the camera again (reloading it there of necessary) or get Quicktime Pro and change to a compatible movie format (such as avi) with the tools there.

Hi you need to go to http://www.cnet.com and download the avi player it will then allow you to play your avi through the windows media player.
