Once you have the spots, drink LOADS of water, don't wear foundation or powder make up, wash face twice a day, use a cleanser if skin looks oily, dab on Germolene (only costs about £2 from a supermarket, Boots or Superdrug).
Avoid touching your face

To help not get spots in the first place:
Eat loads of fruit and veg
Drink LOADS of water (as i've said)
Take supplments of Zinc, Vitamin B and Vitamin E (keep taking these even when spots have gone)
Change pillow cases every night
Keep hair away from face

Try all this and the spots will clear up.
