Hurts if you press and let go, hurts by itself. Now rest of stomach is starting to hurt. Could this be an ulcer? No bleeding that I know of. Had a fever 2 days ago and stomach problems but this all went away so I attributed it to the flu or my crazy diet.

I wonder if this is serious...? Any opinions?

I would check with your doctor.

I'm not trying to diagnose but you may have a gas pain. Many times, if you have a gas pain, it starts on the left hand side, depending on how bad the pain is, it can spread throughout your stomach. My mom gets these alot.

You mentioned you had a fever days ago, if your stomach was hurting then, you could have had the 24 hour bug..this is just speculation.

If you want more information, a really good website is www.webmd.com, if your symptoms get worse, please talk to your doc.

Best.

I have had the same problem for about 2 and a half months, but I have pain all over and right under my left rib bone. I went to the doctor 3 times now. One on Monday for an Ultra-Sound and I am waiting for my results. I know I have an enlarged spleen, but I don't know if that is the problem. My Doctor said the last 2 times I went it could be an ulcer or gastritis. If it hurts on the lower right side and you can't jump up and down you should go to the Doctor IMMEDIATELY! You might have Apendicitis. I really hoped this help you. But I never had a fever.
