Umm- you need a picture of a dog! I've seen dogs that would play 'nice' with other pets, but make no mistake. Dogs are true to their breed. Don't leave a bunny along w/ a dog. I've alway been a fan of rescue and older dogs. They know a good deal when they see it. Be mindful of getting a dog that requires a lot of physical activity unless thats the family style. In your case, a medium dog, that can be handled by kids and managed by adults. Young might be best for you. Train em in the behaviors you desire. I've had mutts to a show dog, and I tell ya, they are like people. Some ol ugly mutt will be your best friend. The dog pictured w/ me, saved my behind on 2 ocassions. Loved kids. But test em out before bringing em home.
