how old are you? first of all, if you want to flirt with someone, then you want him to flirt back and you want him to know that you like him so he makes a move on you, right?.... it's better to be obvious because then you will know whether or not if he likes you back and if you guys have something... you dont want to like him and figure out he doesnt like you back and liking him for a year was a huge waste of him because you could have liked that cute guy in your chemistry class and you two could have gone out..... what im trying to say is that you want to be obvious so he notices you like him and he like you... just remember, guys never notice subtle hints

To me, flirting is a sneaky way of telling someone you like them. I would make eye contact for a little longer than normal, I'd smile, tell jokes, nudge him gently. Say hello, ignore him a little, but not too much. If he likes you back, he'll return the flirting, or go out of his way to talk to you. If he doesn't, take the hint and back off.
