Not only is good a legitimate source. God is a good source of daily nutrition, i.e. protein, vitamins, and minerals.

Not exactly sure what you mean by a legitimate source?
But Jesus does say that he is the way, the truth, and the life. He is the way to have a relationship with God, He is the truth of how to live life, and the way to true purpose in life.
