God certainly does exist. And remember that HE loves you, all of us. An 'answered prayer' does not always mean that we will get a direct obvious signal. At times what we pray for is amiss, or not in keeping with what HE knows is best for us, so the 'answer might be a 'no, or a 'wait'. Just because we don't hear thunder claps and certain desired results doesn't mean He does not hear us.

I could fill a book with the prayers I have made and the answers that at times took a long time to come... be patient, keep your faith, and God will continue with you as you grow in age and in Him.

God does answer prayers. It is usually yes, no, or not now. But the answer is always there. Sometimes you can stay faithful to a prayer for many years before it comes to fruition. Or maybe it never will. Rememer, we should want a heart that wants God's will be done... not ours. What is your relationship with God? Do you want somebody to be around when you want something? Or are you in a real relationship with Him and appreciative for what was done for you? Do you actually talk to God? Or do you just ask Him for things?

I am not asking you these things to put you down. I just want you to contemplate your relationship with Him. You need to get into your bible daily. It doesn't take much. I know that it is a daunting book, but you can go into the new testament and read a chapter a day, or even a few verses. This is your connection with God to understand who He is. I like to take a chapter a day and read that one chapter as many times as I can. I also understand your reading problem. I was the same way in high school. What comes natural to others is hard work for you. So work hard. That's all I can tell you. I've learned that what I lack in natural talent, I make up for in hard work.

In my experience, I've had some prayers answered the way I wanted and others not. I truly believe I've seen prayer move the hand of God, but not always.

God is not some genie in a bottle who has to fulfill our every wish just because we ask.

At the same time I believe He is a compassionate God and will give us what we need. Sometimes we may not receive deliverance from our earthly circumstances though. Even Jesus prayed asking God if it be possible, let this cup pass from me, in regards to His going to the cross. Then He uttered, "Yet not as I will, but as you will."

There are going to be many trials in your life. Some of them will be almost unbearable. Stay close to God in prayer. It's the only way to truly have joy in this life.

Just because God can answer prayers doesn't mean he doesn't want us to do some things on our own. Faith in God is a wonderful thing, but it's not an excuse to be lazy. Don't worry, he will come through for you when you truly need it the most.

If God answered your prayer, there will be times that you will know that He answered it, and times that you don't know that He did answer your prayer. God has everything under control. As far as your friend being sick, God is healing her right now but not everything is instantaneous. Reading past your bedtime that you and your parents know is direct disobedience. In short it says in the scripture that that you should honor thy father and thy mother that thy days shall be longer. Basically obey your parents.Work around that time. If you know that you are slower in something, allow yourself enough time to finish whatever you have to do.

God has a purpose for you. It may or may not be the same as what you think would be good for you

It's hard to say to God "God, give me what you want me to have. Make me want in my life what you want in my life. Increase the skills that will make me do the things YOU want for me to do for you." But that's just what we need to do. Believe it or not, God wants what's best for you, and it might not be what you think is best for you.

Also, sometimes the answer He gives to our prayers is "No."

He works in misterious ways, sometimes he doesnt fulfill your prayers right away, cuz maybe he has a different plan for you. But, you also have to TRLUY BELIEVE in Him, and that your prayers will get answered, and it will work, not soon, but it will eventually work out.

God is not at your service dear.
You need to read more the Bible and have a personal relationship with him.
