All right. I received a lot of feedback. Most people said those who do not believe in CHrist go to Hell. Are you telling me that before the existence of semitic religions (it came FAR after early civilisation) everyone went to hell? Or that all of The Americas went to hell before the conquistadors enslaved them? Or the VAST majority of Africans, Asians, and Pacific Islanders went to hell. These people had never even heard of Christ. And in a predominantly Hindu country like India, how can everyone convert to Christianity? While Christians have the Bible, Hindus have far older scripts supporting their religion. Most Indians are born Hindu and will die Hindu, simply because their society is not Christianized. Are you saying God purposefully sent The majority of the Human race to hell, never giving them a chance into your Kindom of Heaven? I want a full explanation, not just a "you're going to hell." And I'm not Atheist.

You guys are once again quoting God to justify God. Give me one reason why I should abandon my Gods. Why are you right? Convince me, don't tell me.

You guys know about Brahman, why don't you follow him. I have equally reliable scriptures backing my God. (Brahman is the Hindu transcendent prescence. Now you know, why don't you convert?)

If you understand the true meaning of Hell, then you will know that everyone that death takes, goes to Hell.
Definition: The word “hell” is found in many Bible translations. In the same verses other translations read “the grave,” “the world of the dead,” and so forth. Other Bibles simply transliterate the original-language words that are sometimes rendered “hell”; that is, they express them with the letters of our alphabet but leave the words untranslated. What are those words? The Hebrew she’ohl' and its Greek equivalent hai'des, which refer, not to an individual burial place, but to the common grave of dead mankind; also the Greek ge'en·na, which is used as a symbol of eternal destruction. However, both in Christendom and in many non-Christian religions it is taught that hell is a place inhabited by demons and where the wicked, after death, are punished (and some believe that this is with torment).

In the Book of Romans Ch1 v 20 It says,"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." And you can read further for more explanation. But Paul is addressing the very question that you are asking.
I dont have all the answers but, I know that God is a just God and he judges each of us by what we do know, not by what we do not know. So, when we get to heaven we will find out the answers to these questions.
But, the question I have for you is, what are you going to do about Jesus? You know about him. Will you accept him or reject him? That is the only question you need to be concerned about.

God has never seen fit to tell us what His plans are for those other people who have never heard of Christ or who lived before His time. He has only chosen to tell us what will happen to those who hear the Gospel and knowingly reject it. The Bible is not an encyclopedia to be used to satisfy every curiosity. . . nobody ever claimed it was. We know that human beings can only be saved through the atoning work of Christ. . . we don't necessarily know that only those who have heard of Him can be saved by Him. Like I said, God has not chosen to reveal that information to us. If He thought we needed to know, He would have told us. The gospel is addressed to you personally, to individuals only. . . not to some vague "other people". God never talks about other people, just about you. There are some things we have to be content not to know, and simply trust in His goodness. If we find Him to be loving and kind in other respects, do you doubt that He would be loving in that respect too? I am not a liberal Christian who says these things, either. I'm a conservative evangelical who knows his Scripture, that's all. Hope that answered your question.

If they never had a chance to hear about God or Jesus, then the bible says that God will judge them according to what they know.
Besides, if there was a person who had the capacity to feel remorse for his sins, then didn't God have the power to insure that they would be born in such a time & place that they could hear about God? Conversely, if someone is born in a time & place where they couldn't possibly hear about God, doesn't that imply that God knew that they would not repent anyway, and God is cutting them some slack since they can only be judged according to what they know?
in response to you implied question, Jesus expressly said that the majority of mankind will go to Hell. He was quite clear about that.

It is not our job to convince you of anything. You have to convince yourself.

You'll just have to wait till judgement day to see what happens. Luke 10:16 " The one who listens to you listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me; and he who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me." Mark 28:18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All Authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Hosea 13:4 Yet I have been the lord your God since the land of Egypt; And you were not to know any god except Me, For there is no savior besides Me. Romans 10:9-11 That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; 10. for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. Matthew 7:14 "For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it.

Lol, good question...
Actually it's whoever doesn't accept the faith of making peace with God is condemned to hell.
When my faith spread throughout the world, other faiths were still accepted, but once my faith spread, then the faith they were following was eradicated and negated.
So everyone had a chance to be enlightened.

Even the Vatican has admitted that all religions have some truth in them. If you look closely, they all have the same basic beliefs.
