People don't understand contractions and the two different forms. It drives me absolutely crazy.
I get a p*ssed off about the way that people type. Don't even get me started on all the idk, omg, ur, u, lol, and all that crap.

A lot of people just don't pay attention, they don't care enough to learn. As long as it's just an occasional error I don't care, but when it gets so bad I hardly understand what they've written it's annoying!

Either people can't spell or don't think about what they are saying. You're is a contraction of you are. Then there are those that don't really care.

FORCE OF HABIT I GUESS, for most its easier to type.. plu its pronounced the same way... just like their , they're and there.. pronounced same just force of habit for some... DONT MAKE A BIG DEAL OF IT, JUST FORCE OF HABIT, plus some write it shorter b/c of slang in IM's
did you know in german for possession instead of 'Mike's bike' they don use the ' so its Mikes bike....random fact..

many people don't understand correct english grammer. subjects like english and math are not being taught as well today as they used to be.
it is also caused by laziness, or people who don't care.

poor english i guess? english curriculum today don't emphasize much on such things (contractions, etc.)
in my school my teacher haven't even taught that to us yet, and i'm in the 8th grade.
