I don't believe because it seems to me that everyone says God is all good and stuff, but if you really read the Bible it's filled with genocide and God and followers killing people for the smallest things (stoning an old man for gathering sticks on Sunday or making fun of a prophets baled head) It seems to me that a god who does things like doesn't disserve to be worshiped.

Here is why I do not believe. The church overall has vast sums of money. Most of this money goes towards makeing the church and those affliated with the church more money , not helping people.
Religeon is a control mechanism. Christianity is a rather vicious tyrant. Evidenced by any thing that is a Natural human urge is called a sin, even sex is a sin, even when in marriage, if done for pleasure and not for makeing children. This is directly against our biology. By telling us everything we desire to do is wrong, the religeon stunts our growth, and makes us worse human beings, as we try to make others feel guilty so we don't have to feel as guilty. it breeds intolerance and hate.
Religeon in any form is wrong. God does not exsist. ( read the bible front to back, and see how man contridictions it has, ). no OMINIPOTENT god would use a mortal to write his book of laws, no LOVING GOD would cast non belivers into hell, no LOVING GOD would DEMAND that one must never use birth control, though the children produced starve todeath before age 2.

I have evidence that nature is all that is needed to explain existence.
The better way to look at the situation is how does the evidence which supposedly exists for god, differ from the evidence that exists for leprechauns.
The answer is, it doesn't. The amount and quality of evidence that exists for god, is equivalent to the evidence that exists for any other mythological being.
If you can't draw a conclusion from that, well then no amount of evidence to the contrary will matter.

The idea that an intelligent entity could exist with no origin is an obvious nonsense. Intelligence can only have one of two possible origins: An unthinking, undirected natural process (evolution) or creation by an antecedent intelligence. Since a creator deity would by definition have neither of these origins, such a thing cannot exist.

None of that theistic crap ever made any sense to me or meant anything to me. So, as far as I'm concerned, non-belief is the default position and I have no mandate nor interest in trying to prove a negative. I see no evidence of god(s).

Ive proven in a few ways that god doesn't exist.
nothing makes sense in the bible/teachings
"why wont god heal amputees?"
many contradictions
why not believe in the flying spaghetti monster, you cant prove he doesn't exists?
many many reasons, believe me.
how CAN you believe in it?, its just so silly.

There is no proof of God one way or the other. Do what makes sense to you. The bible is hate filled lies and pure crap. Think! Use your own brain and decide for yourself.

we all have our own minds and hearts. weigh the evidence and see it it makes sense.
joining because of threats or becuase most of the neighbohood belongs is a pretty poor reason, just as being bullied/scared into it is.

Just take a look around and see what religion has to offer.
Religion does not make a person.

YOU SHOULD READ SOME OF SYLVIA BROWNE'S BOOKS. I WENT TO A BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN CHURCH FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS AND THE PEOPLE WERE JUDGMENTAL. I CONSIDERED IT TO BE A CULT. TELLING PEOPLE HOW TO DRESS AND TRYING TO CONTROL EVERYONES LIVES.
I WOULD RATHER STAY HOME ON SUNDAY WITH A GOOD BOTTLE OF WINE AND SOME SYLVIA BROWNE BOOKS. TRY IT.
