Hello all ! I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty and can't find the manual ! Today one of the light on the dash came on, but I'm not sure if it's the alternator or the engine light ! It's orange and kinda oval in shape. Any help would be appreciated ! Thank you !

The "kinda oval" shape is supposed to be the outline of an engine. It's the CHECK ENGINE light. One of the sensors has detected something that would decrease efficiency, increase pollution, or be an otherwise minor problem. It's a warning, not an "imminent disaster" light (those are all red).

If it is an isolated occurrence, the light will go out after a while. If it is something recurring, the light will stay on. You can take the Jeep to a dealership, most mechanics, or any major auto parts store and they can plug in their computer and find out what caused the light to come on, and recommend corrective actions.

If it's emissions-related, it might be covered under a factory warranty.

And says ABS in the middle of it I bet. That's your Antilock brake system light, it means that a problem has been detected with the antilock brake system and you should take it to the dealer and have it checked.
