& my hands are always red, or sometimes even purple & cold. is there anything i can do to make them stay at their normal color & temperature?

I'm a nurse. There is something wrong. I would try to use some heating pads, hot water bottles, or something like that. You however need to see a doctor for this. You could also buy OTC stockings at your local drug store to help with your circulation, ask the pharmacist. You must check wear them only for like two hours then check your skin. So take them off for maybe an hour or so then wear them at like bedtime or something like that, or when you want to. I hope this helps you. Take care

You need to see your doc to find out for sure what is going on and he can offer medication if you want to try something.
