There is a local chuch that has built themselves so high that they have a personal church Starbucks when you walk through the doors. They have more HD flat screens that any sports bar, fitness center, or residential sub-division put together. I feel that religious establishments are ment to spread the word of God and help or give back to the community and its people.

How can they justify wasting all of this money to raise attendance. This church is larger than any school located in the Southwest Region of Missouri.

When did the word of God become so boring to people that they couldn't just listen, they have to watch the preacher on a big screen and drink gormet coffee...

This really is disgusting. I believe it was Jesus who told the young ruler to sell all of his possessions and follow Him. The young ruler couldn't do it because he had a LOT of stuff. Sounds like this church needs to do some soul searching and find out if the money that was spent going to the HD tvs could have been better spent on, oh, feeding hungry and poor people. It really is ridiculous when church becomes so glamourized and materialistic that they need to have a Starbucks in there.
