The current system is loaded totally in favor of the man with big money. The kicker is the recent (past 50 years) drift toward "leading the jury by the hand" with absurd evidence exclusion and politically inspired jury instructions from not so impartial crooked judges. Our jury system would work just fine for rich and poor alike if the jury was allowed to see ALL evidence in the case, and vote their conscience, instead of a corrupt judges politically inspired instructions.. The Fully Informed Jury Association (FIJA) needs more support, several states have already adopted their guidelines for jury instruction, a move in the right direction.

I think the entire system requires a complete overhaul. Those with money can buy justice, the poor get free legal aide, even if may not be of the highest quality, ... but the middle class get trampled in the system as it exists today. Since they are not elegible for the free legal services they may have to sell everything they own to afford an attorney. I often wonder how many innocent people like that are sitting in jail because it was more beneficial to them and their families to plead to a crime they didn't commit, rather than spend everything they'd worked a lifetime to accumulate paying their legal bills.

Our jury system is messed up. The fact that our judicial system could allow a murderer- OJ Simpson- to be dismissed for his unthinkable crimes is case in point

Decisions rest on human intelligence and integrity. Always a problem. Still the best system in the world.

Lawyers find many technicalities to delay the trial. Justice delayed is justice denied. Moreso, the rich and famous are being given special treatments like the O.J. Simpson case.

Our court system is based on people swearing to tell the truth. How many people do you know that would still be standing if God dropped in one day and made invisible all people who lie quite often. ??????????? Not many, so why would we trust anything anyone says in a court of law. Sorry to be so negative. But I'm sick to death of people lying, deceiving, and especially corporate retail and commercials and and and ........................

that is counted on who's utilising it and for what purpose. there are circumstances whilst difficulty-loose pursuits are weighted extra exceedingly than actual information. at times what's eradicated upon discovery can certainly make or ruin a case.

It's extremely disappointing to say the least. I think we can thank the ACLU for stating that criminals have rights, too.
