it will probably take you 6 weeks until u can take Ur Wat ever u got on your lip or you might get an infection in your lip

the kissing part doesnt matter...because if you do ANYTHING with you mouth...kissing, smoking, eating, drinking...the piercer tells to to rinse your mouth out afterwards. As far as waiting to change the jewelry, I would say 4-8 weeks depending on how fast YOUR body heels from the piercing. But seriously the person peircing you is the only one that can give you the best advice, not people on here....I know this because I was a tattoo/piercers apprentice.
