I thought it was something like 80%,but I can't find that site again.

I was asked for stats when I said that number. I was told that I should try making up something more believeable if I want someone to listen to me. It was really annoying, which is why I'm looking for stats online that I can post.

Protestant 52%, Roman Catholic 24%, Mormon 2%, Jewish 1%, Muslim 1%, other 10%, none 10% (2002 est.)

The above figure is according to the CIA handbook. The above figure for Christians add up to 78%, add in some of the smaller Christian groups and you get close to 80%.
