You honestly think that brings more laughter in to the world? What age are you? Not even something original as it is said by loads of siblings to each other. In your case maybe your brother isn't overbothered but often without showing it can be emotional to a younger person and a joke can often misfire, there are so many people out there adopted and also in many cases literally just given away as in a sister falls pregnant and the child is handed over and brought up by the mother so the person someone thinks as their sister is actually their mother. Next time just think before you open your mouth, you didn't witness your own actual birth so could be your the one that's adopted!!!

no no one is a bad person if they want to bring laughter into the world but its just that sometimes people cant figure out that it was a joke and take it in a bad way. Also it isnt bad if u tell your brother he is adopted if its a joke and u know that he wasnt. if he was then that would be bad.

There are other ways to bring laughter into this world, but not at the expense of someone's feelings. How would you have liked to be told you were adopted? Not funny.

the answer is yes because your 'laugh' is at someone elses expense, maybe you should look in the mirror and have a good laugh at someone who's acting like a spoilt child and who's possibly jealous of their own brother

Well that depends.
Did you traumatise him? or make him cry?
If so apologise and tell him you were only joking as he will hold bitter resentment till he's big enough to smack you one
