We are having a very informal wedding, and I'd like something simple. All the major bridal websites have dresses that are way too fancy... need something a bit more informal.

How about trying a dress that is fancy enough for a wedding but not really a typical wedding dress. Try someplace like Ross or TJ Maxx. I believe both of these stores have websites. They are in the SC and GA areas but if you don't live near here, I am sure they probably have something like it in your area. Don't limit yourself to typical bridal shops. They are going to be expensive.

Don't look at bridal stores - they are going to be way overpriced. Instead, look at the selections at department stores or formalwear stores. Nordstrom's website has a big selection of long white dresses. A wedding dress is just a dress you wear on your wedding day. It doesn't have to come from a wedding-specific store!

The bridalonlinestore.com site has them for 149.00 and up.
Also, JcPenney's has their own dresses for way less than most and not as formal as most. ($59.99-$119.00)
On the JcPenney site, they didn't have a large selection; however, they usually have more in the stores and in the catalogs to order.
