The Asgard II, which is also a sail training school and is owned by the Irish State.

This boat could be anywhere!

There is the Jeanie Johnson a tall ship that sails out of Dublin (if I have put the correct name and boat together) - you can book this one

There is also the Dunbrody as mentioned above. The Jeanie Johnson is probably your best bet but probably expensive!

Choose a location and see what dates are open (or choose a date and then find a location with it open) first. The location will sometimes push you towards a particular color or theme and then you can buy the favors and decorations to go with that. It will also determine how large a guest list can be planned. Get the dresses tried on asap so you have time for alterations. Once you have the date, book photographers, musicians/dj, caterers, the officiant, and the florist. Invitations should be ordered as soon as you have the time and location set (or save time and money and print them off your home computer with an invitation kit from Staples). Wow, there are so many things and October is a really tight time frame; it may be worth your while just to hire a wedding planner who is familiar with vendors in the area already.

The only tall ship I know of is the Dunbrody which is moored at New Ross, Co. Wexford.
I don't think they do weddings though, it's a museum. Bit small too.
