Whenever I urinate, I have a sharp pain directly below my belly button. The pain lasts sometimes only for the duration of the urination, but sometimes extends to a minute or two afterwards. There is no discharge or cloudiness to the urine, and the coloration seems to be within my normal range. My diet had not changed significantly leading up to the appearance of this problem. Should I be concerned about a UTI or anything of that nature?

You do need to see your Dr. it could be a UTI, or it could be referred pain from your bladder or part of the urinary tract system. I always say this, but, pain is your bodies way of telling you something is not right. You'll feel better after checking it out with your doc.

Yes I would say that you have an UTI. I have had my fair share of them. If they are not treated soon enough or depending how bad it has gotten, it can turn into a kidney infection. Those are very painfull!!! So I would get it treated soon. good luck!!

You need to see your Doctor. It could be Caculi, a build up of calcium deposits in your bladder. This can form small stones and block your urethra.
