People driving 4 wheelers have absolutely no idea how the big rigs handle. They try to pass on the right when you're making a wide turn. They will cut you off then slam on the brakes to make a quick turn. They tailgate, not realizing that when that alligator blows off your truck, they might be in danger of being hit with it. They travel in your blind spot. They don't understand the meaning on the sticker on your trailer that says " If you can't see me, then I can't see you!" Let me explain that one for them, People, if you're following a big truck so close that you can't see the driver in the left side mirror of the truck, then you're following to freakin' close! Got it? And if that truck happens to make a quick stop, well, you can count on kissing that ICC bumper you've been riding for the past 20 miles.
Don't cuss the driver. Just remember, if you've got - a big truck brought it!

because they dont know anybetter. i once wrote a question asking about truck drivers and how i thought they were the worst on the road. but then a former truck driver told me the risk that cars make and the irresponsibilities like you just mentioned. after that, i learn to get out of a trucks way and move lanes when I see that he is driving faster than i am.

Because they think that the big trucks drive too slow for their way of driving. They don't stop to think about how much space the truck needs to slow down, or the gears trucks need to shift, or the weight of the big trucks. They are the drivers that think about themselves first. And, they probably think they are big enough themselves that they do it. I am one driver who greatly appreciates the big trucks. Take care.

maybe since they are smaller, they are trying to get out of the way quickly,i always try to get out of way of big trucks and give them plenty of room.

Because they failed physics. They didn't realize that 80,000lbs rolling down the road beats 3,000lbs. rolling down the road.
