I think of a wonderful beautiful place with the worlds best hockey team. With the worlds best personnalties. Its a wonderful countries but people make many sterotypes about canada. we do not live in igloos, and we do not use dog sleds as cars. And we do NOT say Aboot. never in my life have i heard a canadian say aBoot. I found this on a website and i agree with EVERYTHING! ( Except i put my nickname instead of Joe, witch was orignnally there)

Hey.
I'm not a lumberjack,
or a fur trader...
and I don't live in an igloo
or eat blubber, or own a dogsled...
and I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzy from Canada,
although I'm certain they're really, really nice.

I have a Prime Minister,
not a President.
I speak English and French,
NOT American.
and I pronouce it ABOUT,
NOT A BOOT.

I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack.
I believe in peace keeping, NOT policing.
DIVERSITY, NOT assimilation,
AND THAT THE BEAVER IS A TRULY PROUD AND NOBLE ANIMAL.
A TOQUE IS A HAT,
A CHESTERFIELD IS A COUCH,
AND IT IS PRONOUCED 'ZED' NOT 'ZEE', 'ZED'!

CANADA IS THE SECOND LARGEST LANDMASS!
THE FIRST NATION OF HOCKEY!
AND THE BEST PART OF NORTH AMERICA!

MY NAME IS AV!
AND I AM CANADIAN!

lol to Dion`s answer...that`s a funny commercial...I also live in Toronto
do you notice when you`re on the bus or subway...practically no one speaks speaks english....béc there are soo many immigrants
lol
I love it here....there`s every culture & race....
it`s funny how some people joke and say... they never knew black people lived in Canada....I`ve never been in a school...where the dominent race is white....it`s usually asians or persians...but on top of that...they`re always VERY multicultural

In elementary school...we had to perform with other schools at a music festival... and all the other schoolz from far away were completely white.. I`m not kidding
and then in my school you see EVERY single race

so when I think of Canada...or more specifically Toronto
I think multicultiural

Maybe you should concentrate on english instead....

And stay away from Toronto. It's worse than New York. I've been living here for 19 years and just look at what it did. If you think my little comment was bad, come to Toronto for a few hours; they can get more creative.

Way to go on representing Canada on how great communicators we are....
