I just dowloaded Windows XP, ( upgrading from Windows 2000 ) and I can't seem to find Microsoft Word or any of the Office programs for that matter. Does it come with the office program or is it sold seperatley? ( Keep in mind I had the Office programs downloaded with Windows 2000 )

take the CD with Microsoft office on it and put it in the computer

if u have downloaded office when u had win 2000 then u must have that downloaded file in ur pc ...simple is Run or Install it again for Xp all that simple

and if u need key then go to http://astalavista.ms and in search tab wrrite as "office" they will provide u a key ..simple bye

From what I understand from XP and up they are making you purchase the software as I had to purchase it for my laptop which is "Windows Vista" as well as I have home HP Windows XP and I had to download office works as well there. good luck

They are seperate files. You probably chose the option to reformat before upgrading. You may need to reinstall these programs and any others you had before the upgrade.

if you already had ms office installed and you only upgraded to to xp then it should still be installed. if it wasnt installed then yes office is sold seperately

office is a seperate program you can go to openoffice.org or sourceforge.net and download free office software

start>search>click on "all files and folders">type "microsoft word"> open.
to create a shortcut on ur desktop. right click it and click on "create shortcut" or "pin to start menu"
