No do not do this. Pain your walls an inviting and warm cream color all of them but the one behind the bed. Go with a deep chocolate brown or a deep turquiose for this wall. If you want more color in the room to match with the bedspread try painting your nightstands or dresser to match, getting a rug that matches, accent pillows, match the drapes, fun lamps for the bedside tables, paintings and picture frames, even a vase of flowers that matches the colors of the bedspread would be fun and creative, assesories go a long way. The walls would not be soothing enough for a good nights sleep if theywere that many colors.

i think you can use all of these colors, but i wouldn't do one wall brown, one green etc. i would suggest all blue walls with maybe a 4-6 inch stripe of brown all around (chair rail height perhaps) and then if you want to incorporate the lime green, a very thin stripe of green above the brown. i think that would look really nice, without being overkill.

also, i just saw this on a show the other day: brown almost halfway up the wall, and then a deep turquoise above, with a stripe of white.

and yes, stripes and polka dots will look good together as long as they're not small stripes.

good luck and happy painting!

Paint your walls white, this will help with lighting, except the wall where your bed is against. This wall should be painted a color, other than white, not to take away from the bed but to draw attention to the bed for the center piece

Turquiose or a light Tiffany Blue (a.k.a. Robin Egg Blue)!

God Bless!!

Buy a new bedspread and keep it simple.

From personal experience, most people find multi-colored rooms dizzying. Find a look you like, and keep it in only one color.
