i wanna go smooth downstairs! what should i use? hair removing cream? wax? shave?

I am male and yes some blokes think its wrong for a man to be smooth but what do you ladies think? and what is the best way to get rid?!

waxing will hurt like hell. I use Immac (now called Veet) which you are not supposed to use on genetailia area, but give me a nice smoothness that lasts weeks. Don't leave on too long otherwise it will burn.

Trim everything down first )clippers or scissors) - see how that looks and then if you want to go smooth, I'd suggest just the testicles and leave a little hair round Mr willy, otherwise it looks odd in my opinion!

Whatever you do, DON'T SHAVE - it will itch horribly when it starts to grow back, and everyone will think you have crabs when you keep scratching down there!

Buy an epilator, it has rotating discs, that pull hair from the root. You can attach ice packs, that numb the skin slightly making it less painful, some epilators even have massage heads that run on the skin before hand, again minimising the pain factor. But I found that once I did it a few times, it became more tolerable so now I don't use the ice pack at all. Another tip is to epliate right after a shower, the steam opens up your pores, making the hair removal less painful. It's great, so much better than waxing and creams which are so messy. No stubble or nicks that you get from shaving, and inexpensive and private compared to laser treatment. I do my face, arms, leg, bikini line, pits - it's great! AND ...... it reduces the re-growth, hairs grow back finer and fewer!

smooth down there on a guy is hot, I heard though that you cant wax certain areas down there why I dont know, shaving works but the grow out stage sucks with pickyness and itching (my bf tried it before) but I would look in to laser hair removal it is painless. I am actually going through lasar hair removal on a few different areas right now so far so good there are 12 weeks in between treatments so it will be a while before I am hair free. Good luck!!!!!

Don't shave for goodness sake! You'll come out in spots which will take ages to go and you'll be sore. When the hair starts to grow again you'll be itchy. You won't be fit for sex for a couple of weeks at least. My friend did it and says he will NEVER do it again. Just go into Boots and see if you can get some hair removing cream for that area. I think hair there is okay in any case.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

One question why do you want to go smooth? Wax, it'll hurt but it will stay smooth for a couple of weeks. Hope this helps.

Sure - it's different and a nice surprise! Go for the back, sack and crack wax - it's less effort, bit painful (I'm guessing as I am a woman!) but it won't drive you crazy with itching when it grows in. Only problem is finding a Beauty Therapist who will do it. Don't let your mates have a go - no matter how much they tell you they can do it!

I've been shaving that area for years, and I'm heterosexual.
Some women like it, more than the ones who don't, though sometimes they are initially surprised.
I shave every other day, in the shower, and have never had any problems with spots, itchiness or anything else.
And, since you don't ask, I began doing it because I felt cleaner without the hair, and still do.

I noticed that all these broads gave their two bits about how you should leave a trail or have a fuzz. Hey, that sounds pretty good, don't chop off the entire jungle, I say, if you can, what you wanna do is take a clipper and shave so that it looks like one of those military buzz cuts. Broads like'em clean, if you know what I'm saying. But wait, if you're not into broads, I guess gay guys probably like'em clean too cause I mean, have you seen that Queer Eye Show? All the improved straight guys have the cleanest apartments after the gay guys was finished with them. Anyway, yeah, so, this is what you do, you do a buzz cut and then afterwards, you write something cool on their, in a graffiti style like ZOOM! (90's MTV style) with dollar signs and lightning bolts.

a little manly hair is better, in my opinion, but there is nothing wrong with mowing the lawn and raking the stray leaves.
Trim with a beard trimmer. Probably shaving the nuggets gently. (pull scro... taut)
Keep some fuzz over the parts. If you have a trail up to your belly button, for G-d sake keep that!
