i want to know what people think of muslims only if u have a relationship with one,
don't give me any ignorant answers (i.e. terrorists, killers, opressed, beaten, animals, etc.)

Well having been both a non Muslim woman and now a Muslim woman i feel i have enough experience to answer your question. On other Muslim women i have always found them to be strong and courageous women, god fearing and family orientated. I have know plenty of Muslim before and after my conversion and my opinion has remained the same. As a child growing up i was not a Muslim or from a Muslim family but lived in a multicultural city and went to school with, had friends and neighbor who where Muslim, Hindu, christian, Sikh, catholic you name it the city i grew up in had it. I was always welcome in Muslims homes as a friend of there child and never experienced anything but a welcome and friendly attitude.
In now being a Muslim i see many different things i did not recognize before. Things like there modesty and piety, there devotion, there humor, there willingness to share all they have even if it is not much, the kindness in there smiles. I could go on and on but i think you get the picture. Of course I am not for a second suggesting all Muslims are perfect or that no Muslim woman is without faults, we are only human after all but i have personally only experienced the good and positive. Thank you for your question. It was nice to be asked for a change instead of being told by others what Muslim women are. Good for you, peace to you.
Trinity - I have never been taught or am expected to be subservient, to who exactly? In Islam men and women are equal. We have different roles that is true as you know men and women are different but we are equal without a doubt. Shame you dont know what you are talking about.

I have a friendship with two Muslim men, friendships with two Muslim women, a close friendship with another two Muslim men, and I'm engaged to a Muslim man.
Muslims are like anyone else, there are good and bad and in-between. There are passionate Muslims, mellow Muslims, ambitious Muslims, and Muslims who care less about money and more about other things.
In general, I really enjoy talking to Muslims about spiritual matters. They have a deeper and more mature understanding of God than my Christian friends do. That's because Islam is spiritually more mature than Christianity. Not knocking Christianity, but it's true. The Qur'an brought so much more of God's Revelation, so of course it's more mature. Also, I love how Muslims have a very high station for Jesus (pbuh) and his mother. In fact, oftentimes I see Jesus addressed not merely as Jesus, but as Issa bin Maryam - Jesus, son of Mary.
I love my Muslim friends because they are such good, good, beautiful people. OF COURSE I love my Muslim fiance, he's absolutely fabulous!!!
EDIT: I almost forgot, you asked about Muslim WOMEN. One Muslim woman (Shi'i) is very very sweet, so kind, she has such a beautiful loving heart. She is an angel, really she is. She's extremely feminine, and so soft-hearted. She's originally from Iran, but moved to Canada a couple of years ago.
The other woman is Lebanese-American. She's strong-willed, hard-working, straightforward, and extremely intelligent. She's very strong, and not a pushover. I admire her a lot.

A persons religion, race, or ethnicity has nothing to do with who they are as a person. Actually because Muslim women are taught to be extremely subservient, even more so than christian women, they will probably be nicer and sweeter.
But in the same sense i don't know why a woman would pick the Muslim religion, there even degraded in their own "heaven", they are made sluts of. In heaven in the Muslim religion all men that make it there are given a whole bunch of virgins, and all the women that go to "Muslim heaven" are made these virgins. Talk about degrading, at least when your a Christian your equal.

Muslim women are very nice, very polite. I got many muslim close friend because I am from muslim country. But the main problem is nobody can marry muslim women without being muslim.

Muslim women are far more respected than I thought they would be. I originally had prejudice to the Islamic faith until I 'grew up' and tried to understand it more.
It's like I always say, 'Mankind fears what it doesn't understand, and it hates what it fears'.

i used to work with a girl who is muslim, she was really sweet,there was nothing different about her other than the way she dressed
