I have a random question-not is there a "starbucks on every corner", i merely used that cliche to lure all of you in (bwah ha ha ha).
But rather: Is every Starbucks on a corner? Have you ever seen a Starbucks in between two shops? Does such a thing exist?
I have my reasons for such a silly inquiry, trust me.

Hmm, now that you mention it, no, I haven't. I've been in Chicago, New York, St. Louis, Atlanta, and Orlando, and I don't think I've ever seen a Starbuck's that wasn't on a corner or in a Barnes and Noble. The town that I used to live in had a "free-standing" Starbucks that they built beside a corn field. I'm drinking a cup of coffee from Starbucks right now -- it's the first one in years and only I was desperate for liquid after shopping all afternoon. And if this cup is any indication, they probably chose the corn field as a convenient place for people to go toss their cookies. I KNEW I hated Starbucks for a good reason.

Yes I have seen a starbucks in between two stores. Were I live there is a starbucks in between a Fred Meyers and a hair salon. But then if you go to my local mall the starbucks has a corner store. Then in another location starbucks is next to Barnes and Noble but still is the end store. So you know I can see the reason for this question.
Very good one I would like to know why they do that?

There is a Starbucks inside the Safeway by my house. So although the grocery store is on a corner, I don't think that the Starbucks technically is.

I've seen plenty of Starbucks that aren't on a corner. Especially now that they seem to be in every Safeway. And there is one between a liquor store and a veterinary clinic in a shopping center nearby

haha good question! I work at Starbucks, and ya know, I think every location is on a corner! The one I work at is on a corner and the more I think about it, if it's not in a mall or an airport, then it is on a corner! Hmm...

Come to think of it, no, I have never seen a Starbucks between 2 stores. They are always free-standing or on the end of a strip center (so they can have a drive-thru, I'm sure).

I know of one that isn't on a corner, but I'm not sure it gets a whole lot of business... wonder why...
