If anything, they would be for it since the world will be destroyed with a fervent heat. However, in the case of "global warming", the problem is that it is being used as a political tool. There is also another theory that the axis of the earth is actually shifting. We may, in time, see polar caps develop elsewhere. They are starting to see this.
And no, your armaggedon theory is doubly wrong. First, Armaggedon is a place where all the armies gather against Israel. Second, God's law prohibited the polluting of the land.

It's not that I am against Global Warming!
How could anyone do that? I mean, it's either warming or it isn't.
But what is it supposed to be doing?
1) Getting warmer?
2) Getting colder?
3) Staying the same?
It is generally agreed that we are coming out of an Ice Age. So getting warmer, to me, seems likely.
What I am against is the politicizing of the event! The politicians are quick to raise taxes and run on the event. Since when were politicians supposed to be so trustworthy?
So it is a subject that the libs of the world are so willing to have the wool pulled over their eyes. I'm a Christian, but don't make Christianity synonymous with 'sucker.' That is; unless you want to think that every whim of a gloom and doom politician to be right!

It is because no one can show that the earth is heating up at approximately .6 degrees in 100 years.
I remember in my life time when they were predicting another ice age, now it is global warming.
I don't think we have another 100 years before Christ returns.
There is still controversy over the effect of co2 to "global warming".
What the kyoto protocol would do would be an economic disaster for the U.S. while allowing other countries to polute more than the U.S. I have to ask if .6 degrees in 100 years is important enough to let it destroy our economy.

I don't believe all are. It just seems to be taken on by the Democrate party and more Evangelicals are Republican but anyways the science doesn't show evidence for it so personally that's why I don't believe in it. Most evidence shows a relation with natural causes not manmade. One volcano eruption can do what perhaps man has contributed to in hundreds of years.
Why concern yourself?
If most are natural causes then God will take care of it or it's nothing to be concerned about. I can't control natural things anyways.

Perhaps evangelicals are not against global warming as suggested, but question the solutions offered by the politicians (more taxes).

"Against the idea of global warming" as opposed to being for it? Is anyone for it? No one is all gung ho in favor of global warming, that's just ludicrous. I think they believe its just part of end times, but that certainly doesn't mean they're for it. I'm christian, though not evangelical, so the concept seems a bit preposterous to me that anyone would actually want global warming.

Personally I don't think that global warming is actually taking place. Apart from that in the bible God promises that life will go on as it has with summer and winter and fall and spurring until he returns.
Genesis 8:21 "I will never again curse the ground on account of man, for the intent of man's heart is evil from his youth; and I will never again destroy every living thing, as I have done. 22 "While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, And cold and heat, And summer and winter, And day and night Shall not cease."
When you trust in God, you don't need to worry about such things and the evidence presented about global warming really doesn't have much validity to it.

I think you've made a generalization without supportive evidence.
I don't think any Evangelical believes that increased carbon dioxide will be be a contributing cause to the battle of Armageddon.

Evangelicals have been against the idea of global warming because paying attention to global warming goes against the interests of the corporate bigwigs that control the Republican Party that are fooling the evangelicals.
Fortunately, many evangelicals are waking up to the idea that God doesn't like it when we humans pollute his creation.
