Jesus, according to the bible, said to the Jews of his day - that "Before Abraham existed, I AM"
Definately conveying to the Jews that he was the Great I AM, of the Tanak {the Jewish Bible), Conveying to them that he {Jesus, was God Himself). And for this reason, the Jews killed Jesus by Crucifixtion. Anyone who claimed that they were God, or a Prophet greater than Abraham or Moses, the Jews would crucify. As Jesus walked with his cross, he saw hundreds of people that were crucified as he {Jesus) was. Jesus did say that he was the God of the Jews, in the flesh, and for this reason, and this reason alone, Jesus of Nazareth crucified to death. Even though he is gone, his words and teachings still live on in the hearts of many people, comforting, guiding, and encouraging them, as they read the bible. He will always be remembered as the man, who through his compassion and love - helped many people.

Jesus never allowed himself to be worshiped because he never claimed to be God. His deification came 324 years after his death when the Council of Nicea established the Roman Catholic Church as a means to extend the Roman Empire. Jesus always told his followers to worship God in Heaven, not himself as the son of God. His teachings inferred that we are all children of God.

What you are saying is that the Messiah (His name is YAHOSHUA) really is Almighty. The reason He did not stress that point is that there was a time for Him to die, and The "Jews" got really hostile when He mentioned it, and might have tried harder to kill Him early if He had emphasized it.
