Hi. Dog flea shampoo has the exact same ingredients as head lice cream the only difference is the perfume and soap. So it would work fine.

It may actually be the EVO. Dogs shouldn't be given rain free until they are fully grown, so starting yours on it as a puppy may have been bad. (the protein content is too high for puppies) Now, it may also be just something in the EVO that your dog does have allergies to. Try switching brands, and make sure to change the protein. Try a fish or lamb or something that has something besides beef. There are other grain free foods, like Solid Gold Barking at the Moon, and of course many other. Try to gradually switch her over to a different brand and see if that helps. Also, incorporate fish oil + vit E into her diet. This will help her skin and her coat. If switching the food doesnt work, I would suggest switching to a high grade food that IS NOT grain free. (something like Wellness, Solid Gold, Canidae) If that STILL doesnt work, I would find a vet willing to do an allergy skin test. There may be something in the environment that is causing the itching.

Well firstly it didn't get rid of the fleas and secondly it brought me out in a rash. To be honest, until my pets were flea-free, I continued to be bitten now and again.Animal fleas cannot live on a human and reproduce etc, they only land on you from your pet, so once you get rid of them, your pet keeps sending more your way, to bite you. Touchwood, my pets ain't had fleas since 2004 as I use flea stuff on them which kills ( I think) the flea and stops it reproducing too. Hopefully I've been of some help to you. Good luck as flea bites are itchy as hell and I don't envy you, try bathing in bicarbonate of soda, very soothing or apply some calamine lotion. Cheers

Fleas are a major pest. There are various species of fleas - cat fleas, dog fleas, rat fleas and rabbit fleas.
You can get rid of them by the safest and cheapest methods like boric acid.

When I was a little kid, still in Elementary school, my mother would find out that there was a lice outbreak in school, she'd put that on my head and had me to bathe in it. You know what? I never got lice, nor did I get ticks or fleas. LOL But seriously, it does work. Not only to kill what you're after, but by preventing it, too.

Dawn dish-washing liquid, blue original, will kill flees and is safe to use.
Since they are on you and your pets, you can use borax, in a power by the wash detergent, to treat your carpets.
Make sure you treat your yard, or all of this is in vain!
