Does she have fever? Has she had a cold or flu? Is she breathing well? You won't get any information by calling the hospital. Do you not have some other way to transport her to the ER such as a friend, relative, neighbor, taxi? This can't be dealt with in a website; you need to use your parental expertise and always stay toward the safe side.

Okay first if she looks really bad, can't breath and is vomiting everywhere then call for one but when you do call the hospital make sure you check with them first, tell them everything and all her symptoms.... may just very well be a bad stomach flue!

she sounds like she has a bad chest infection and from the severe coughing is being sick id call an ambulance to be on the safe side

if it has been only 3hrs she is alright for now. give her plenty of water or even Gatorade. it will help her from becoming dehydrated. if she is not better by tomorrow i would call your PCP.(Primary Care Doctor). for the coughing give her some cough medicine, it should help. Hopefully she can keep it down. also what helps is ice pops.

yes, take to ERoom. they will give her something if it is an infection and something that will stop the vomiting. then they will probly have you give her liquids for dehydration like gatorade ..weakened jello....or maybe pedialyte, but definitely take to the doctor immediatly. and remember to take a towel with you.
