Unfortunately our culture has imposed the height discrimination on us. You should absolutely date shorter guys though and, if you do, try not to let any negative feelings society puts on us regarding this. I've had very tall (6' 4'') woman friend who had to go through this stigma. I noticed she began to slouch alot to seem shorter and it was very heart breaking. Dont listen to any of the negative stigmas out there and enjoy life!!!

Of course it is. SIZE DOES NOT MATTER does it! someone has to be taller and someone shorter. I am 5 11 and my wife is 5 4 but when we are sat on the settee together we are the same size and when we sleep her head is next to mine. Go on enjoy yourself.

I don't recall ever reading any dating rules that stated the male must be taller, or vice versa.

their is not a rule on dating shorter guys follow your feelings, if you both are comfortable with it than their should be no problem, who care what other people say, your happiness is what counts. i have a friend who is 5'1" and his gf is 5'7"

Yes it is. Look at Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman... etc.... if you like him... go for it and try it out.
