Would I "let"? I'm not gonna make the rules; my job is to throw the bouquet, anyone who wants to catch it can get their b*tts out on the floor and try.
(At my wedding, I threw it a little too far, and a married woman ended up catching it; it was funny.)

sure!!! i mean is always fun to catch the attention of the family and friends in a moment like that, so that could be a little prank for making something cool, if you wish then make small bouquets like using maybe two or just one flower and give them to your single girlfriends that participate in the throwing bouquet (pressuming that the guy catch the bouquet!!!!) i had seeing guys in that activity and believe me is very funny!! :)

In a way, I feel like it would be taking away from the girls' fun, but I guess you've got to treat people equally. There are brides who've chosen to have a Man of Honor in her bridal party, so this is only a small stretch from there! I would speak to the girls first, so they don't take offense.

Throw the garter and bouquet at the same time into a mixed group. Everyone will be happy and the oldtimers won't get their noses out of whack.

Honestly, the day is about having fun and what fun it would be to see a guy excited about catching the bouquet... thats if you if you want to.. if you dont its your day. But if it were me: I would say Go for it! and get some really great pictures.

i might only cuze it is not just a girl thing except for the fact that it's flowers and most guy probably wouldn't want to catch them anyways

Unmarried females are supposed to catch the bouquet and unmarried males are supposed to catch the garter. however if your guy is maybe homosexual I would think it appropriate.
