I'm in the same situation, except im the one who isnt lesbian. My friend who likes me knows that i'm not lesbian and she has asked me to give her a chance, but she understands that i dont want to be lesbian with her. The only thing is, she still tells me that she loves me and stuff. I think that you should just respect her decision and leave her be because there are plenty of other girls out there who are lesbians.

Well assuming you are a lesbian talk to her as a friend then in time who knows. Shemay not have actually made up her mind yet and may even bat for both sides. How do you actually know she isn't a lesbian?

You probably can't. You're not just talking about attraction, but an entire change of lifestyle and on such a pointed issue as well. But, the only thing you can do is try. Be up front about what you want though. If you become her friend and then try to pressure her to change, she will likely resent you for it. Finally, accept her decision. You simply can't change other people.

if you're gay, how can you ask this question? sexuality isn't a choice. there are scientific studies that point to genetics and chemistry.
so the answer is you cannot convince her to give you a chance... either she's gay or she's not gay. if she's bi-curious, that's a whole different story. but you can't convince her of that either.

You can not make someone like you. It isnt your fault that you are gay, and that she is straight. I really dont know the situation, but does she know how you feel? That is the best way to do it, and if she just wants to be friends, then thats all you can do. And then you will need to move on. Hope this helps!

Perhaps she would convince you to go straight... How can anyone be persuaded to change their sexuality?

well i do not think you try to coerce her into your view on sex just be honest with her do not try to persuade her you would not like someone staying around unless they really wanted to,would you? after you are honest she will still like you ,do not worry you are still a great person ,shes out thereyou just have not found her yet !!!!!!!!!!GOOD LUCK
