That reminds me of a song that came out while I was in elementary school by this skinny guy called Rick Springfield. He was pretty much the Johnny Depp of his day, but his days were a bit shorter. Anyway, the main lyrics went: "I wish that I had Jessie's girl, you know, I wish that I had Jessie's girl."
If I ever meet a guy called Jessie I'll think that some guy like Rick Springfield is around the corner just waiting to steal his girlfriend.

Jessie for a boy is actually spelt JESSE so that whoever would be reading the name can determine whether its a male or a female. Jesse as a boy is more common than jessie in a girl i think.

I never really liked that name for a boy because it is kind of feminine. Spelling it Jessie is much more feminine then the usual "Jesse" male version
Maybe Jess, but that may be considered feminine too

I like it alright, but its not my favorite because everytime I hear the name Jesse/Jessie, I always think of a girl.

My nephew's name is Jesse. I don't think it's at all girlie. It quite suits him. He's not been picked on at all but we are in Australia.A character on Home and away has that name and it's made it really popular here.
