evolutionists trusting ;faith in the theory of evolution

much thought all took faith .belief in thier points of vieuw ,i resent that one said belief in god to have come from but one book ,there are thousands of books on/about god and belief indeed i feel were we to lay the many books of belief end to end that the science texts would run out well before the many beliefs texts ,i hesitate to add science of evolution would fill but a few shelves ,whereas the books of the many beliefs and gurus would fill liberies,
science indeed can only document its revelations at first discovery of this or that find or discovery
where as the many ways religion has been become faith ,just in the real life experiences of the many who thus believe in the higher power thus are infinite
wheras
the theory of the science evolved from a limited first hand reports but quoted not lived ,read not found, believed but not proven as a life experience ,ie second hand not first hand

belief has to be lived/applied each day
science[evolution]
theory simply reasond then never or rarly applied only argued for or about ,but not applied to each and every thought.
how true is any belief not lived not applied ,not provable by deeds/works.

don
you mention science re-writes its theory as it gets updated ,but think we who believe read the same as was written from the beginning ,words form pictures
science changes its words at whim
but i see the same word pictures in scripture as the worlds greatest leaders saw
perhaps even the same words/pictures as the prophets saw
but you get new words
think darwin wrote the origin of the species [4 volumes ]from memory but when i read thatr i see the same as he himself saw when he wrote it
lucky he used heaps of pictures but even words form pictures if you let them in

Actually, while I do hold the hypothesis of evolution to be true, it does take faith.
Science (in which I am trained) relies on a set of axioms just like any other branch of knowledge. Good examples are a) the universality of cause and effect relationships, b) the universality of physical constants, c) the cosmological principle, etc
Beliefs, fundamentally, are what form the backbone of any system of knowledge. While it's inappropriate to draw TOO much inference from such a delicate proof, Godel's Incompleteness Theorem provides an argument of the necessity of this structure within the context of the algebra.
Scientists want to believe that what they say is fundamentally based only on empirical or experimental evidence but it cannot be. What distinguishes a good scientist from a bad one is having an open mind to the possibility that your inferences are wrong simply because the data may be anomolous (spatially, temporally, statistically, etc). Sadly, many scientists refute this notion with a wave of the hand.
And BTW, Darwin himself grappled with the notion of evolution for YEARS before drawing his conclusion. One of his fundamental objections during its development was that he was unsure if he was leading himself to "believe" a specific way of thinking that was not true.
Side note: Ask any scientist what matter, charge, force, etc are. Keep drilling down. Ask what space-time is, etc. Fundamental physical concepts are just that: concepts. One of my first physics prof's explained it to me like this:
Einstein first took Space and Time and put them together and at the same time took Matter and Energy and put them together in a theory (Special Relativity). Then he took SpaceTime and MatterEnergy and put them together in a theory (General Relativity). Then, he died after trying to resolve this "new" understanding further. What he left behind? One big MEST :D

Faith is not a prerequisite for those of us who are inclined to understand that God was created by man. After all, if there were no people on this earth to believe...would God exist? I think not.!
Given the enormity of the knowledge gained in the last hundred or so years about the origins of the species, I find it rather incredulous anyone of sound mind could possibly still be devoutly religious.

Most creationists have very little faith - they insist (falsely) that their belief is based in evidence.
People who believe in evolution do not need faith to hold that belief: we do have evidence.
You don't seem to understand much about belief, evidence, faith, the nature of theories, religion, or the value of judging. You have a LONG way to go before you're ready to make this kind of judgment.

Creationism - A story based completely on faith that God is a published author.
Evolution - A THEORY formed by looking at all the evidence and coming to the LOGICAL conclusion that it or something very similar is happening.
Now you decide which requires more faith.

Not the best formatted, maybe in need of some better punctuation,
But I do see great truth in those words.
Both Evolution and Creationism are religions in that they require you to believe in things that cannot be proven.
However there is a mountain of evidence of evolution, and only a book full of proven lies for creationism, so it is up to you to decide.
'Faith' as you state it, is not something that is indicative of the so called 'Evolutionists'.
Faith is one of the focuses of the Creationists, being one of the main points of religion in general.
So while an evolutionist may have facts on his side, will those fact necessarily benefit his or her life.
The 'Faith' of the creationist may prove to be much more valuable in daily living.

Faith is Conditioning, Programing , or Brain Washing.
This only appilies to that which there is no supporting evidance. That would be Creationism!
Evolution is NOT based on faith but on what the evidance shows!
There is no programing or brain washing needed to accept evolution. Just look at the facts and let them speek for themself!

Ha.
Every dog and house cat on this planet is a product of selective breeding; Evolution in action controled by humans and not natural selection.
Unless you consider a timber wolf to be the same as a chihuahua then evolution has been proven.

Creationists have more faith.
Evolutionist have theories based on facts.
You can't put faith in to something that is a proven theory that doesn't make sense.

It would take a huge amount of faith to deny evolution in the face of mountains of evidence.
