For any ladies experienced with black hair, what can I do to get dreadlocks? I have tried before, but I have very soft,wavy hair. I got the double strand twists and my hair would'nt stay twisted four days. Is there another method that I could try that may work better with my hair? I cut all my hair off, but now it's grown to about 2 inches long.

Uhm it'll be real hard if your hair is too soft especially after a couple of days of not washing because you will most likely have more oil. I dunno try some kind of hair spray you can scrunch with that way you can mold them how you want them for now and as your hair grows just kinda keep working at it. Everyones hair tangles and hopefully you can keep at.Sorry I wasn't much help.

Dreadlocks are horrible. They look ugly and they never come out like ever unless you cut all your hair off. I say cornrows are better.

i would want till its about 4 inches then dont wash it and use a shampoo for dreadlocks

First of all, since you are a girl, try to straiten your hair and then it willeventually dry out. then you can get dredlocks.

try going to a salon, they would kno exactly what 2 do, there is a special treatment
