installing windows 2000 & xp pro in Itaila?

is it true that in Itaily you are only aloud to install 200 or xp pro on one computer and only one computer? I'm told that you can install on up to 3 computers. but my girl over in Itaily has been told that she can only install it on one PC and then if she wants to install it on another she has to buy another coppy.

That depends on Which license you have. Windows sells licenses per server or per seat. YOU are likely ok with W 2000. XP, however, is a PAIN IN THE NECK, because you will have problems activating an installing updates, even if it is a legit copy.
