Why isn't a sin when these animals gratify themselves sexually and for pleasure?
Would learning about evolution and Biology help you to convert them?

It's not relevant....but I'm hetero....
Maimatt...pay attention in bio class....many animals have homosexuality. And it's %5 of humans. What you are saying is a convenient lie.

Because many operate under the mistaken notion that it's a "choice" when neurologists have long ago demonstrated that it's not. There are very notable differences in the homosexual brain which causes them to feel and behave in the ways that they do, their brains are wired in a particular way... they are very literally born with it. This brain muckup also happens in other animals.

Not true in any count. Other animals do occasionally have sex with the same gender, and more than 1% of the human population has sex with the same gender... it's closer to 8% I believe was the latest tally.

Do not know about it being a sin to have sex with the same sex partner, but I guess a lot of us prefer the opposite sex. To each his own ... and where does it say that we should not like the same sex. Hey, if you like the same sex, go for it ... what you do is your scene and none of anyone else concern. Ofcourse you will get the illeterate and closed minded people who will find this disgusting, but I say go for it, I prefer the opposite sex, but as I sadi before, go for what makes you happy.

Because there are many people out there who are afraid of being homosexual, so they make laws against such behavior, because if they can't go smoke some pole, no one else should be able to either. These people tend to be republican.

Animals such as those mentioned do not have the ability to make judgements as to the moral quality of their actions. Same sex unions in the animal kingdom are not altogether unusual because their reasons for having sex is totally "pleasure giving" rather than a committment to an individual. In an earlier question I referred to this as "animal lust". Unfortunately, a lot of people today (including me until I became a Christian) believed that if it feels good and we want to do it, it was fine.

Because we are the only 'animals' that have been taught to judge their own kind. Sometimes I think we are far less socially evolved than animals.

because unless the other species humans have laws run by
a corrupt government that compliments a dictator president. by that i mean america. i see everyones odsessed with the who and the what but homosexuality is degrading. i mean fudge packing sounds good at first but you go to the grave with a loose
butt and a stomach full of sperm.

Probably has something to do with the fact that we are not "brute beasts" that "have no understanding", as the apostle Peter put it. We are expected to make rational choices about where and whom we sleep with, because we can.

Because we are supposed to be a 'higher' being than them
But some of us are not.
Remember not all of a species evolves at the same time.
That's why we got a bunch of people walking around running on Gorrila Logic.
