No I wouldnt let a man tell me how to dress...everybody has their own individuality and freedom to express themselves in whatever shape and form. The way you dress isn't just the clothes your putting on your back..the way u dress defines you..its a form of expression almost like an art...so dont listen to anybody who tells u to dress any different than what you feel comfortable with. No. Only because I dress appropriately for the occasion. I think men want women to be their trophies. They want you to look good so that other men will think that they are "cool." However, if the girl dressed slutty then I don't blame a guy for telling her how to dress. Would you bring home a woman who looked like a prostitute..that's just not classy!

No i wouldn't I should be able to dress any way I like without people telling me what to wear. If they don't like how I dress than thats there problem.

My x used to tell me, & he gave me the confidence to wear things I wouldn't have tried in a MILLION years!!! (He controlled my every move as well)
However, my best mate (& flat mate) is male & I ALWAYS ask his opinion (from a blokes point of view) when I go out. Prob more often than I'd ask my female mates if I lived with 1 of them.

No way my boyfriend tried when we first met he said he was paranoid when i went out clubbing i quickly put a stop to it and explained that this was the way i looked when he meet me in a club he now loves me to dress sexy when we go out.

Is he controlling or what?! Us ladies know what we are doing when it comes to the dress sense! I would ask his opinion but always make my own decision. :o)

i understand how the ladies would say it's your decision, but ponder with me for a moment. i believe we (as men) already have a say, albeit not a big one, but one none the less. when you ladies go shopping for clothes; do you ever see something cute and think... "would he think I'm sexy in this?" or something of that measure. i believe you ladies at least most of the time; buy clothes to impress us; just as we do for you.

I wouldn't le them tell me that I have to do what the want of course, but I do like it when my bf tells me what he likes me to wear because then I know that I look good to him. I tell him what I like on him too and he appreciates it.
