I lost my baby weight (35 pounds) within 3 months... but, I spent a week in the hospital with an infection (c-section), and I didn't eat bread or pasta.

Yea thats only thing that really sucks is all that weight gained during pregnancy your hoping that you are pushing like an 80 pound baby and its like any wheres from a 5-10 pound baby and than you have all that weight... actually breastfeeding gets you back down to your size fast... depending on how much weight you have gained.. so far i have gained about 30 pounds and i am due soon and i know when you breast feed you loose most of the weight you can also go for daily walks and try doing some yoga or something and eating healthy really helps and also drinking lots of water.

If you nurse you will loose most of your weight naturally through nursing in the next 4 or months or so.
However I think the best excersise for mothers is pilates. it REALLY strengthens the stomach.

The easiest way---breastfeeding. But lets face it, you can't nurse forever. When you are done with breast feeding be sure to diet and exercise. Portion control is key too.

breastfeeding.....for both kids, by four/five months I was prepregnancy weight....remember it takes nine to ten months to put the weight on, so ideally, heathy wise, it might take nine to ten....

i cut back on my calorie intake. i only eat 1300 calories a day. but do it healthy. and exerscise.
