I checked the status on irs.gov and it says it is scheduled to be mailed on on March 2nd.. my question is.. is that exactly when they will send it out or just an estimate? Do they sometimes send it out earlier or even later? And when they send it out, how long does it usually take in the mail? Thank u in advance!

They will mail it on Friday March 2nd. you should have it in your mail box withing 7 to 10 days of the mail date

In a normal year, that would be the date they mailed the check. This year, computer glitches have delayed thousands of returns.

IRS refunds are deposited and mailed out on Fridays...and it all depends on your bank when they update your account.
