I have HORRIBLE credit thoguh, so dealerships are out the question

Dealerships WILL sell you a car. The dealership is not the one giving you the loan. They only hook you up with a loan from a bank that's all. You're going to get raped with 22% interest rates because of your credit regardless of whether the dealership finds a loaning institution for you, or if you find it yourself.

Even going to a private seller, you're going to have to bring your own financing unless you're prepared to make a cash buy.

just cheak the newspaper for a car from a private seller. u can find cars 500-3000 and up.
