What is the maximum size of a photo I can print with a 5 megapixel digital camera? Thanks

That sort of depends on how critical you are and how far away it will be viewed.
An 8x10 should look great, providing the image is sharp. An 11x14 should look acceptable. You might could push to a 16x20 in a pinch, if it is an exceptionally sharp and un-compressed image, and if it will be viewed from some distance away. That would probably involve some interpolation of the data.
M-Pix has fairly priced enlargements if you want a print bigger than 8x10.

You will easily get photo-lab quality up to 8x10 *IF* you have set the camera to the LOWEST COMPRESSION possible (meaning that the file size is the largest possible) when you took the photo. Above that size you *may* see some artifacts even with a good file. Cameras will have settings like "Quality" or "DETAIL" which will let you set the compression. Choose BEST QUALITY or FINEST DETAIL or LOWEST COMPRESSION or whatever it is called on your camera.
